About my class.....

My name is Brian Oravec and I am an Intervention Specialist at Newark High School.  My science class is an intervention science class that serves students in grades 9-23.  I have a wide range of students who are all eager to learn.  Science can be a difficult subject to understand at times.  I strive to maintain student interest thru a multi-modal approach to the material.  I hope to make learning fun and enjoyable for everyone!  This year we will focus on animal science in our new text book.  We will be using a multi faceted approach to learning with simple reading/ auditory lessons followed up with technology and hands on labs to better facilitate learning for all students and their diverse learning abilities.  Most of all, we like to make learning FUN for everyone!
